Privacy policy
How information is handled when you read, subscribe or contact us.
Effective September 14, 2026. This policy applies to heomex.com, operated by this website’s owner. For privacy questions or requests, use our contact form. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers or sensitive identity documents.
Information you provide
Newsletter signup collects your email address, subscription status, time of signup and a record of your consent. Contact requests collect your name, reply email, subject, message and submission time. These are used to maintain the requested email list, handle your enquiry and manage corrections or privacy requests. Subscribing is optional and separate from contacting us.
Technical and email-event information
The web server processes request information such as IP address, browser, page address and time. Our first-party tracking service may record newsletter visits and email-open events when a newsletter link includes campaign and recipient identifiers. An unsubscribe request may include a hashed email identifier. A hash or encoded identifier can still be personal data. Email-open measurements are approximate and may be affected by mail-client privacy features.
Cookies and storage
Forms use a session cookie to protect submissions. Temporary rate-limit records help prevent abuse. The site’s tracking script does not itself set a tracking cookie. Read Cookies & tracking for the current implementation. Browser controls can restrict cookies, although forms may then stop working.
Purposes and choices
We process signup information based on your request and consent to receive the newsletter. Contact and security information is used to provide the requested response and protect the service, subject to applicable law. You may unsubscribe through the personalised link in an email or request assistance using the contact form. The unsubscribe page asks for confirmation without requiring you to type an email address.
Service providers and advertising
Information may be processed by hosting, technical and email-delivery providers used to operate the service, or disclosed where required by law. We do not sell newsletter or contact-form records. No Google AdSense advertising code is active in this launch version. If Google advertising is enabled, the site must provide the applicable disclosures and consent controls first. Google and its partners may use cookies and related data for advertising, measurement and personalisation according to the choices and rules that apply. See Google’s partner-site privacy explanation and Google ad controls.
Retention
Active newsletter records are retained while subscribed. A local unsubscribe removes the readable email from the subscriber record and retains a suppression identifier and status to honour the request. Contact messages are retained for up to twelve months; temporary form rate-limit records expire after an hour. Server and campaign-event records may be retained for operational and suppression purposes. You can contact us to ask about or request deletion of records connected with you, subject to necessary legal or suppression retention.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant privacy authority. Use the contact form to make a request; proportionate identity verification may be needed. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing.
